About the Book:
Popular YouTubers Cole and Savannah LaBrant share their inspiring love story, highlighting the redemptive, surprising nature of God at work in our lives, and how He graciously steps in and turns our messes into something beautiful.
Millions around the world followed the fairytale love story of viral YouTube stars Cole and Savannah LaBrant and watched as they said “I do.” Their subsequent YouTube channel, dedicated to family and faith, garners more than 100 million views each month. But now for the first time ever, Cole and Sav invite you beyond the highlight reel and into the beautiful and messy, funny and tender story of how God brought two unlikely people together in a surprising, unexpected way.
With their signature charming and engaging style, Cole and Sav take you behind the camera and open up about past heartaches and mistakes; painful secrets and difficult expectations; the joys and challenges of raising their daughter, Everleigh; and the spiritual journey that changed their hearts—and relationship—forever.
I recently happened to stumble upon the LaBrant family’s YouTube videos kind of by accident. I started watching their channel and three days later went and ordered their book. I thought it would be fun to learn more about how Cole and Savannah met. It definitely was! Their story is so sweet, but it also really impacted me. It was filled with hope and it made me remember that God has a perfect plan for my life. I enjoyed this book a lot!
I give this book 10 R's out of 10

When Calls the Heart Blog Party // Day 4 // Pictures
Today is the last day of the When Calls the Heart blog party!
Today is also the day we announce the giveaway winners, but we'll get to that in a little bit. ;)
It's kind of a tradition for me to do a post of a bunch of different pictures on the last day of the party. I was going to do something else but I couldn't decide what to do so I decided why break tradition? ;)
This part was so sweet when Elizabeth showed baby Jack his dad's horse. 💔
I loved it when those two babysat!
This was also the season the telephone came to town.
💕
Christmas in Hope Valley

This is a fun behind-the-scenes picture. ;)

When Calls the Heart Blog Party // Day 3 // Lucas or Nathan
I hope everyone has been having as much fun as Faith and I with this party! Today is the last day to get an entry for the giveaway. All you have to do to earn points is comment on our blogs. The winners will be announced tomorrow morning. :)
Today I will be talking about the two new guys in Hope Valley: Nathan Grant the Mountie and Lucas Bouchard the saloon owner.
Lucas showed up in town out of the blue. He came in and bought the saloon, sight unseen.
There were quite a few people who weren't sure of him at first. Not too many of the towns folk liked him much when he kept the saloon open late since it was always so loud. There were a few problems there but he and Abigail eventually came to an agreement.
Nathan showed up a few episodes after Lucas. It was hard for Elizabeth to see a new Mountie in town, but I loved how she went and welcomed him. It was so sweet.
Nathan also has a niece named Allie. She is a bit of a handful, but Nathan is a pretty great uncle.
Lucas bought a building for Elizabeth to have as a library. I thought that was sweet, but at the same time that it was a little odd for him to get her such a huge gift like that...
It was so adorable during the party for Baby Jack's christening when Nathan offered to hold the baby for Elizabeth!
I absolutely loved it when both Nathan and Lucas were trying to show off a bit at the Founder's Day party. ;)
Then there was the part where Elizabeth chose Lucas during ladies choice at the dance...and while Elizabeth was dancing with Lucas she looked up and saw Nathan and their eyes met...
I like both guys, but currently I would have to say I'm rooting for Lucas...
So, are you Team Nathan or Team Lucas?
Head on over to Faith's blog to see her fun post for the day!

When Calls the Heart Blog Party // Day 2 // Couples
Happy Valentine's Day! 💕 Welcome to day 2 of the party!
Today Faith and I are guest posting on each other's blogs. :)
-------------------------------------------
Hey, guys! I’m guest posting today on Rebekah’s blog, while she’s guest-posting on mine. We’re each giving our thoughts and opinions on the show’s “current couples.” My thoughts are here, and you can hop over to my blog to read Rebekah’s opinions!
>> Lee & Rosemary <<
One of my all-time favorite couples from the show. They also happen to be the only favorite couple of mine which are both still (1) alive, and (2) on the show regularly.
I didn’t like Rosemary at first. She was trying to steal Jack away from Elizabeth, she was slightly obnoxious, and her affinity for the color red sent my eyebrows skyward. Needless to say, she’s grown on me. Very much. Quite rapidly, too, after she got her claws out of Jack.
Lee, also, didn’t immediately gain a spot on my favorites list when he came roaring into town on his motorcycle. I actually thought he was some sort of conman, and Rosemary’s infatuation with him only added to my belief that he was up to no good. But once I realized he was upright, I became a total fan.
And I’ll always adore their love story. They’re very different people, but they compliment each other nicely. And, I mean, their jokes and sarcasm are top-notch, too.
>> Jesse & Clara <<
Ahh, yes, the young ones. I wasn’t sure what to make of this couple to begin with, but I’ve warmed up to them. They’ve definitely had their ups and downs, but S6 was good for them and I hope S7 is, too. <3
Clara is a sweet character. I was surprised by her appearance on the show and the news of her brief marriage to Abigail’s son, Peter. But it made for a unique storyline, which I liked.
I didn’t like Jesse in the beginning. Again, I thought he was a conman. (See the trend?) He was too, I don’t know, smart-alecky? I thought he had an ulterior motive for getting close to Clara. But after he like, saved the town or whatever, I tried to trust that there was some good in there. Somewhere. ;)
(Also, random side note here, but am I the only person who thinks these two look alike? ? I know, weird. But I think their eyes and face structures have a lot of similarities... #sidetracked)
>> Carson & Faith <<
Okay, gonna be honest here. I’m...not sure what to think about this one. I’m not exactly against it, but I haven’t decided if I’m for it. It just feels kind of forced to me.
They’ve worked together all this time with no awkward doctor/nurse flirtiness—until now. I liked Carson with that friend of Rosemary’s. I liked Faith with Phillip’s dad, Shane. But with each other? Not sure...
Would you believe it? I didn’t trust Carson at first either! *shock waves* His eyes are nice, though, so while I didn’t exactly trust him, I found it hard to believe he was a terrible person.
I also wasn’t sure if I liked Faith at first. Although she wasn’t trying to snag Jack, he could easily be perceived that way and I just don’t like that sort of thing. I began to like her more as she started to settle into life in Hope Valley.
So, yup, I guess that wraps it up. I could talk about the love-triangle we’ve got going on over there with Elizabeth/Lucas/Nathan... But we don’t have time for that, so let me just say this—I’m voting for the uniform. Hands down. ;)
Until next time, homies. *waves*

When Calls the Heart Blog Party // Day 1
The When Calls the Heart blog party is back for it's 4th year!! I enjoy co-hosting this party each year with Faith!
Season 7 premiers in just a week and a half!! I can't believe it's already on it's 7th year. I've been loving this show since 2014!
I am going to be doing a season 6 recap today. A lot happened in season 6, but this will be a very brief recap.
Season 6 started off with a Christmas special. In that one Elizabeth was very pregnant. We saw the town come together to support Elizabeth. In the end of the episode Elizabeth had a sweet little boy who she named Jack.
I loved seeing Elizabeth as a mom in this past season. It was fun to see her in this stage of life and Baby Jack is just so cute!
Then there was also a bit of a love triangle happening with Elizabeth, Lucas, and Nathan. (I'll be doing a post more on that topic later in the party. ;))
Faith and I are doing a giveaway!! We will be having a 1st and 2nd place winner who will receive some When Calls the Heart DVDs.
All you have to do to enter is comment on our posts. The more you comment the more chances you have to win! So be sure to check out our posts each day!
Now head on over to Faith's blog for her post of the day. You won't want to miss it!!

Not too far into the season both Abigail and Cody left Hope Valley. It was sad seeing them go.
There was the whole thing with the saloon selling. Both Bill and Henry planned to buy it but when they finally decided to go into business together they found that the saloon had already been sold.
Lucas Bouchard came to town. He bought the saloon. While he was welcomed in Hope Valley there were a lot of people skeptical of him. He has a bit of a past and we saw some of that throughout the season.
Nathan Grant is the new Mountie. He has a young niece named Allie.
Carson and Faith have a relationship going.
Jesse and Clara got engaged! I enjoyed seeing their relationship come along.
Lee and Rosemary are just as cute as ever. I really hope they have a kid in season 7. They are the sweetest couple ever!
