The Ebb Tide // Book Review

From the Back Cover:
Sallie Riehl has dreamed of traveling at least once before settling down to join church, so she is thrilled at an unexpected summer opportunity to nanny in Cape May for a well-to-do family. However, saying even a temporary good-bye to Paradise Township means forgoing baptism another year, as well as leaving behind a would-be beau. Yet the weeks in Cape May soon prove unforgettable to Sallie meets a Mennonite young man whose friendship she quickly begins to cherish. Has she been to hasty with her promise, or will she only find what her heart is longing for back home.

I really enjoyed The Ebb Tide. It was SO good!! This is definitely my favorite standalone book by Beverly Lewis. Amish fiction is one of my favorite genres and I love beach settings and this book had both of those things. It was just amazing and not predictable, which was really nice. Usually with a book, I have a pretty good idea of how the book will end and it takes some twists, but it usually ends the way I hoped it would. :) Well, this book I really wasn't sure how it would end and for a little while I wasn't even quite sure how I wanted it to end. This book is just so good and I would definitely recommend it!!!

I give this book 10 out of 10 R's

  1. Eeps!! This book sounds so good. :D I've only read like part of the prologue (hehe), but I need to finish it this week. It's a review book and it's sorta-kinda-almost overdue. :P

    Lovely review!
