A New Year

It's 2020! Happy New Year!

2019, like most years, was filled with both good and not so good times. I made some amazing memories though!
In August I went to Los Angeles and Hollywood, CA, with my mom then a week later my family piled into the car and we headed to the Oregon Coast.
Throughout the year I had lots of great family time, and also had lots of fun hanging out with friends.
I wrote in my journal pretty regularly, continued the book club, and started a Bible study.

In 2020 I want to deepen my relationship with God, write in my journal almost everyday, take many walks, make more amazing memories with my family, have fun with friends, and take a few trips.
I would also like to finish writing my book!

Goodbye 2018. Hello 2019!

Happy New Year!! It's now 2019. A whole new year to make special memories and try new things!

2018 was a good year.

  • A friend of mine got married and I was a bridesmaid in her wedding.
  • My brother graduated high school and published his first novel.
  • Faith and I hosted our 2nd annual When Calls the Heart blog party during the week of Valentine's Day.
  • Speaking of Faith, I got to meet her in person for the first time!
  • In July I posted my very first vlog and have been having fun with it since.
  • I got a new job down at a deli here in town.
  • I got my ears pierced.

Some of my goals for 2019 are:
  • Growing closer to God
  • Reading 75 books with 12 of them being nonfiction
  • Hopefully going on vacation
  • Write in my journal everyday.
  • Playing my violin more
  • Focusing on the blessings in my life and not letting stress or worry take over.

Hello 2018!!!

2018 has arrived. That means a whole new year to try new things, make cherished memories, and a whole lot of other excitement!

2017 was a pretty good year. I started a book club, got my braces off after having them on for 3 years, celebrated my 21st birthday, and made some other great memories.
I'm looking forward to a new year though.

A couple things that I'm looking forward to in the new year is:
~A visit from a friend! In the spring a good friend of mine will be coming by!! I cannot wait!! :D
~Hopefully a vacation. ;) I'm not sure if this will happen or not, but I would definitely like to take a trip this year.
~When Calls the Heart season 5 will start up in February! Also I look forward to all the other When Calls the Heart fun that will happen. :)
~Spending quality time with family and making wonderful memories.
~Having fun times with friends.
~Reading great books and also participating in Rebekah Morris' reading challenge!
~Writing in my journal more often.
~Pursuing some things that I've been thinking about doing for awhile.
~Growing closer to God.
~and hopefully lots more! ;)

I can't wait to see all that 2018 has in store for me!
