My Bookish Recap (2019)

In 2019 I didn't read near as much as I would've liked to. I had a goal to read 75 books, but I ended up reading 40. 40 is still pretty good considering how busy I was and I'm happy with that number.
Out of those 40 I read some really amazing books.

My top two favorites were Becoming Us by Robin Jones Gunn and Katie in Waiting by Erynn Mangum.

Becoming Us had such a great friendship theme to it and I surprised myself with how quickly I read it. It was so good and I am eagerly anticipating book 2, Being Known!
I'd love to re-read Becoming Us sometime in the near future.

Katie in Waiting was so amazing. I related to Katie in SO many ways it was crazy!! I really want to re-read it again soon then read books 2 & 3!! :)

Some other great books I read this year were:
Through the Tunnel by Rebekah A. Morris
Beloved by Kaitlyn Krispense
Mr. Brownsfield by Jonathan Hangstefer
The Inn at Ocean's Edge by Colleen Coble

In 2020 my goal is to read 50 books.

Some that I'm most looking forward to are: The Stone Wall by Beverly Lewis, Once Upon Eliza and Happily Ever Ashten by Erynn Mangum, Mermaid Moon and Twilight at Blueberry Barrens by Colleen Coble, Aiming for Love by Mary Connealy, Love Unexpected by Jody Hedlund, and the Sunrise at Normandy series by Sarah Sundin.

What was your best read of 2019? What book are you most anticipating for 2020?
